The symposium is organized under the auspices of the Werkgemeenschap voor Informatie- en Communicatietheorie and of the IEEE Signal Processing Chapter of the Benelux.

Call for papers
Previously unpublished contributions across a broad range of topics in information theory and signal processing are solicited, including (but not limited to) the following areas:
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit a one-page abstract in pdf format, including names of authors, affiliations with addresses, telephone numbers, and email to ovdbigge@ulb.ac.be. Authors of accepted papers will receive instructions for the precise manuscript format. Each accepted paper will either be presented orally or as a poster. All accepted papers will appear in the symposium proceedings. An award will be given to the best student paper. A limited number of grants will be made available to M.Sc. students who have an accepted paper at the symposium.
Important dates
January 31, 2011 - Deadline for submission of one-page abstract in pdf format.
February 15, 2011 - Notification of acceptance.
April 10, 2011 - Camera ready papers due and deadline for conference registration.
May 10-11, 2011 - Symposium.
