Wireless network security and convergence of technologies : The past decades have seen the development of various wireless technologies and wireless network architectures. Nowadays, some of those technologies have been deployed, like Wi-Fi, 3G or WiMax. With the arrival of 4G technologies and the heterogeneous networks, new questions about security have been raised such as convergence of the various security architectures already available and the processing of vertical handovers. Maximizing the adoption of those new technologies will not come without a strong reflexion about the security and its cryptographic concerns.
